An artisanal craft brewery

Leveraging his successful 15 year brewing career, Brewmaster Steve Altimari has partnered with John Anthony, another seasoned veteran of the craft brewing industry, to start their own California Bay Area venture, High Water Brewing. The name High Water being a playful interpretation of Steve's last name. A loose Italian translation of "Alta" meaning High and "Mare" meaning Seas or Water led us to the High Water name.

Inspired by the most creative brewing practices and styles across the world, Steve and John's love of beer and unbridled passion for all things flavorful have led to a line of products that represent the very best of the best. Together they have combined their visions of creating unique, flavorful beers and distributing them to as many people as possible.

Partnering with award-winning Drake's Brewing Company, Steve is crafting High Water beers at Drake's Brewhouse in San Leandro, CA, In addition, we have expanded our production base and have begun producing specialty beers in our own fermentation tanks at Devil's Canyon Brewing Company in Belmont California as well as in our tanks at Hermitage Brewing in San Jose California.

Our production beers are now available in 5.16 and 15.5 gallon kegs as well as bottled in 22 oz bombers.
